Minor thoughts is a joint creation of Joseph Martin and C. Adam Volle. We started our first blog, The Theocrats after noticing that the “blog thing” was starting to look popular. We wanted to get in early and see what all of the type was about. So, we did. Adam wrote our first post on June 4, 2004. Theocrats was our attempt at writing about the Christian life and what having King God was really all about. It was a good first attempt at blogging, but it didn’t work out quite the way we’d hoped.
After putting blogging on hold for over three months, we’re back. This new blog has a looser mission statement. We will wrote our minor thoughts and not so minor thoughts. We’ll observe the world around us, ask questions, and look for answers. We don’t have all of the answers, but we’ll do our best to find them. We’ll tell you our biases and do our best to keep open minds.
Joe is interested in educational policy, constitutional law, economic trade-offs, and civil liberties. Adam is interested in almost everything else. Joe will occasionally write about local Wisconsin politics and together we’ll try to keep you entertained. Thanks for visiting, please come again.
